Welcome to To Phōs Candles, I'm Mina — a happy wife and mother to four wonderful children. I'm delighted you've found us.
My journey into candle-making began when I realized the health hazard conventional candles pose to our bodies and our environment. This realization led me to a candle-less home for nearly eight years. So sad!
Until...
Until, inspired by a book on liturgy that highlighted the symbolic significance of lighting candles, I felt a renewed purpose to create non-toxic candles that reflect the warmth, light, and purity of Christ.
After extensive research and development, To Phōs Candles came to life. "To Phōs" is Greek for "The Light", the original language of the Bible, and derived from John 8:12
It's a joy to share with you a product born from love and care, safe for every home.

This candle is light and homey. I love lighting it when I want a cozy but not overpowering scent.
I won a refillable jar, along with a candle and oh my goodness. The most beautiful smelling candle I’ve ever tried. The jar was absolutely gorgeous too. I wish I could afford every candle at once so I could have them all over my house. The smell is not overpowering. I feel with artificial candles. The smell just gives me a headache. The scent of these are powerful, but in the most relaxing way. I actually enjoy the way my house smells, and I don’t get headache headaches at all. If you get headache headaches from walking into Bath and body Works, But want that strong smell this is the best candle to get. And I personally think the scents are much better and more creative. These candles change the whole atmosphere of my home, and last SO LONG. Highly recommend.
I saved this as the last one from the fall collection to use and it did not disappoint. This ended up being my favorite and would love for it to stick around! The smoky vanilla aroma is safe, calm + actually love that it doesn’t scream fall, just cozy. I ended up buying another as a gift bc I was so impressed.
I loved Palo Santo + Crème in the Luxe Jar Refill! I tend to avoid sweeter candles as they can be overpowering but this one was just right. Will be purchasing again!
Sampana is one of my many favorites now! It truly does work for any season with its fresh and clean scent. It’s not overbearing or too heavy. I just love that Tohpos is a brand I can trust - with no more candle headaches! And it’s even more special because this candle benefits an amazing nonprofit, 127 Worldwide!
ToPhos has done it again! Turkish Delight just might be my new favorite scent, filling our home with such a bright, welcoming aroma for the holidays (and let’s be honest, all year long!) Run don’t walk to get one (or two or three) of these.
I love orange scent in my candles and this one just gives that yummy, nostalgic chocolate orange smell with a hint of pine! So perfect for the holidays!
Of the two candles I purchased, this one was my favorite. It smells delicious, and I love how it burns - clean and evenly. On top of that, I love the branding. When the candle burns down enough, you can see the light flickering through the company logo on the label and it’s so pretty. I’m not sure whether it was intentional or not, but it adds to the experience in a lovely way.

I am not a skincare girly— and never have been. But, after having some recent breakouts (new for me lol) I decided to give Mina’s whipped tallow a try, and oh my gosh. I am obsessed. I kid you not, I look forward to it as a special treat once a day to apply the balm to my face, leaving my face looking, and feeling, amazing! I don’t think my skin has ever been this healthy. My husband even noticed and commented on how my skin was glowing. Not to mention, the coffee vanilla smell is amazing! So good I have to remember it’s not edible!! I’m so glad I hopped on the bandwagon after seeing friends try this new product from To Phos Candles. It was DEFINITELY worth the hype.
This herby+ creamy combo is unique and truly lovely. The eucalyptus is refreshing and the coconut is just sweet enough. Love that it can work for any season.
